Lenka & Jirka

Lenka Sekaninová, rodačka ze slovenských Košic, je profesionální tanečnice, lektorka, choreografka a zakladatelka tanečního studia Dance by Lion´s Plzeň. Na tanečním parketě v podstatě vyrostla a zasvětila mu celý svůj život. Láska k tanci z ní přímo čiší a tvrdí, že na parketě se nedá unavit, protože tanec člověka energií nabíjí. Je iniciátorkou různých tanečních projektů a autorkou mnohých mistrovských choreografií. Jako taneční chameleon s lehkostí proplouvá různými tanečními styly. Svou taneční cestu započala ve 3 letech soutěžním společenským tancem, ke kterému se postupně přidali moderní tanec, jazzdance, salsa a v roce 2008 také swing, jehož variabilita, rozmanitost a bezstarostnost jí natolik učarovali, že mu dnes věnuje nejvíc prostoru a jeho vlivy jsou patrné ve vší její práci. V roce 2007 byla finalistkou televizní taneční soutěže Bailando. Soutěží ve swingu se z času na čas účastní pro zábavu a v Mnichově na festivalu Rock That Swing se s Petrem Benešem protančili do finále Lindy Cupu a vyhráli Shag Battle.

Jirka se k tanci poprvé dostal ve svých 14-ti letech, kdy se přihlásil na kurzy swingu u Lenky. Od té doby vyzkoušel spoustu tanců, ale žádný ho nezaujal tolik jako swing. Jeho velkou oblibou je cestování a díky tomu nasbíral zkušenosti na swingových festivalech různě po světě. Během svého studijního života se na rok přestěhoval do irského Dublinu, kde tančil a vedl kurzy v taneční škole Full Swing Dublin. Na lekcích se nejvíce zaměřuje na pocit z tance a hudby a říká, že tanec je spojení 3 faktorů - sebe, partnera/partnerky a hudby

Lenka ist eine professionelle Tänzerin, erfahrene Trainerin und Choreographin sowie Gründerin und Lehrerin des Pilsener Tanzstudios "Dance by Lions". Sie ist auf dem Tanzparkett aufgewachsen und hat ihr ganzes Leben dem Tanz gewidmet. Sie strahlt vor Liebe und Begeisterung zum Tanz und steckt mit ihrer Leidenschaft auch ihre Schüler/innen an. Im Unterricht ist sie konsequent und erwartet Disziplin. Laut Lenka lädt das Tanzen die Batterien des Menschen wieder auf.

Jirka begann im Alter von 14 Jahren mit dem Tanzen, als er bei Lenka Swing-Kurse teilnahm. Seitdem hat er viele Tänze ausprobiert, aber keiner hat ihn so sehr interessiert wie Swing. Seine große Freude ist das Reisen, und so hat er auf Swing-Festivals in aller Welt Erfahrungen gesammelt. Während seiner Studienzeit zog er für ein Jahr nach Dublin, Irland, wo er an der Tanzschule Full Swing Dublin tanzte und unterrichtete. In seinen Kursen konzentriert er sich vor allem auf das Gefühl des Tanzes und der Musik und sagt, dass Tanz eine Kombination aus drei Faktoren ist - sich selbst, den/der Partner/in und die Musik. 

Lenka is a professional dancer, experienced trainer and choreographer as well as founder of and teacher at the Pilsen dance Studio "Dance by Lion´s". She grew up on the dance floor and dedicated her life to dancing. She beams with love and enthusiasm for dancing and also infects her students with this passion. During class, she is consequent and expects discipline. According to Lenka, dancing can recharge one's batteries.

Jirka got into dancing for the first time at the age of 14, when he enrolled in swing classes with Lenka. Since then, he has tried many dances, but none has interested him as much as swing. His great pleasure is travelling and thanks to this he has gained experience at swing festivals around the world. During his student life he moved to Dublin, Ireland, for a year where he danced and taught classes at the Full Swing Dublin dance school. In his classes, he focuses most on the feeling of the dance and the music and says that dance is a combination of 3 factors - self, partner and music.

Eveline & Danny

Danny Merkelbag a Eveline van Lievenoogen se do lindy hopu zamilovali v malém nizozemském městě. Po letech, v roce 2017, se zamilovali i do sebe navzájem. Od té chvíle často cestovali po světě, aby rozpalovali společenské taneční parkety. Vyučovali swingdance na různých, převážně evropských festivalech. Vedle toho se rozhodli založit vlastní školu swingového tance JazzOut. Se svým týmem se usilovně snaží přivést každého k radosti ze swingu výukou lindy hopu, charlestonu a blues. Eveline má také hlubokou lásku k umění dráždit, burlesce, kterou vyučuje a předvádí. Oba mají spoustu energie, což se projevuje i na tanečním parketu. Jejich lekce jsou také plné energie, humoru a srozumitelného vysvětlování.

Danny Merkelbag und Eveline van Lievenoogen verliebten sich beide in einer kleinen Stadt in den Niederlanden in den Lindy Hop. Jahre später, im Jahr 2017, verliebten sie sich auch ineinander. Von da an reisten sie häufig um die Welt, um Social Dance Floors zu befeuern. Sie haben Swingdance auf verschiedenen, meist europäischen Festivals unterrichtet. Außerdem beschlossen sie, ihre eigene Schule für Swingtanz, JazzOut, zu gründen. Mit ihrem Team arbeiten sie hart daran, jedem die Freude am Swing zu vermitteln, indem sie Lindy Hop, Charleston und Blues unterrichten. Eveline hat auch eine tiefe Liebe für die Kunst der Verführung, Burlesque, die sie unterrichtet und aufführt. Die beiden haben jede Menge Energie, und das merkt man, wenn sie auf der Tanzfläche stehen. Auch ihr Unterricht ist energiegeladen, voller Humor und klarer Erklärungen.

Danny Merkelbag and Eveline van Lievenoogen both fell in love with Lindy Hop in a small town in the Netherlands. Years later, in 2017 they also fell in love with each other. From that point on they travelled the world frequently to burn social dance floors. They have been teaching swingdance in different, mostly, European festivals. Next to that they decided to start their own school of swing dance, JazzOut. With their team they work hard to get everyone into the joy of swing by teaching Lindy Hop, Charleston and Blues. Eveline also has a deep love for the art of teasing, Burlesque, which she teaches and performs. They both have tons of energy and that shows when they are on the dance floor. Their classes are high in energy too, full of humor and clear explanations. 

Artur & Cyrielle

Artur je zakladatel a lektor pražského tanečního studia Swing Move, nacházel vztah k jazzu již od útlého dětství při poslechu desek Louise Armstronga a sám se také tomuto hudebnímu stylu věnoval hrou na saxofon, klarinet, foukací harmoniky a v současné době intenzivně cvičí hru na piano. Před 10 lety s překvapením zjistil, že se na swing dá také tančit. Od té doby neúnavně a tvořivě zkoumá možnosti tance a svou energii rozproudí všechny kolem.

Cyrielle pochází z Francie a lindy hop objevila v roce 2013 ve Stuttgartu. Začínala s lindy hopem, balboa a poté s collegiate shagem. Po mnoha workshopech a společenských tancích začala vyučovat pro SwingKultur Stuttgart. V roce 2019 se přestěhovala do Prahy, kde nyní vede kurzy lindy hopu a balboa pro Swing Move.

Artur ist Gründer und Lehrer des Prager Tanzstudios Swing Move, er fand schon in seiner frühen Kindheit durch das Hören von Louis-Armstrong-Platten eine Beziehung zum Jazz und widmete sich diesem Musikstil, indem er Saxophon, Klarinette und Mundharmonika spielte und derzeit intensiv Klavier übt. Vor zehn Jahren war er überrascht, dass man auch auf Swing tanzen kann. Seitdem entdeckt er unermüdlich und kreativ die Möglichkeiten des Tanzes und begeistert alle um ihn herum mit seiner Energie.

Cyrielle kommt aus Frankreich und hat im Jahr 2013 in Stuttgart Lindy Hop entdeckt. Sie hat erstmal mit Lindy Hop angefangen, Balboa und dann Collegiate Shag. Nach zahlreichen Workshops und Social dancing, sie hat angefangen für SwingKultur Stuttgart zu unterrichten. 2019 ist sie nach Prag umgezogen, wo sie jetzt für Swing Move Lindy Hop und Balboa Kurse unterrichtet.

Artur is the founder and lecturer of the Prague dance studio Swing Move, he found a love for jazz from his early childhood listening to Louis Armstrong records and has also devoted himself to this style of music by playing saxophone, clarinet, harmonica and is currently practicing piano intensively. Ten years ago he was surprised to discover that you can also dance to swing. Since then, he has been tirelessly and creatively exploring the possibilities of dance and has been stirring everyone around him with his energy.

Cyrielle comes from France and discovered Lindy Hop in 2013 while leaving in Stuttgart Germany. She started first with Lindy Hop, then Balboa and finally Shag. After few years of dance workshops, a lot of social dancing, she started teaching for SwingKultur Stuttgart. She moved in 2019 to Prague where she is now teaching for Swing Move.

Kamila

Lektorka stepu, choreografka a zakladatelka Step by Step studia v Plzni v roce 2010. Dříve herečka v muzikálu DJKT. V současné době u ní stepuje více jak 170 stepařů od malých dětí až po seniory. Studio má za sebou řadu vystoupení a soutěží.

Stepptanztrainerin, Choreographin und Gründerin des "Step by Step" Studio, das seit 2010 in Pilsen existiert. Früher war sie als Schauspielerin am J. K. Tyl Theater tätig. Heute unterrichtet sie mehr als 170 Stepptänzer/innen aller Altersgruppen. Mit ihrem Studio feierte sie Erfolge im Rahmen von Auftritten und Wettbewerben. 

Step dance teacher, choreographer and founder of the "Step by Step" studio which exists in Pilsen since 2010. She used to be an actress at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen. Today, she is teaching more than 170 step dancers of all age groups. Her dance studio has successfully participated in performances and competitions.

Ali & Jiřík

Tuto dvojku zná každý plzeňský swingař. V roce 2017 totiž založili "Swingové pondělky" (později "Swingové středky") - pravidelné pondělní/středeční swingové tančírny. Chcete zjistit, co to swing je, jak to chodí na tančírnách a naučit se pár základních kroků? Pak přijďte na jejich lekce pro úplné začátečníky. Lekce probíhají v češtině.

Sebastian & Marine

Sebastianovo první setkání se swingem proběhlo v Berlíně v roce 2010. Krátce nato absolvoval první kurz a od té doby si nenechal ujít žádnou příležitost k tančení swingu. V roce 2014 přesídlil do Regensburgu aby zjistil, že zde chybí etablovaná swingová taneční scéna. Řešením by rozhodně nebylo, aby se tance jen tak vzdal! A proto se rozhodl rozjet kurzy a tanečně-swingařskou komunitu vystavět od základu. Navštěvoval semináře a chodili na soukromé hodiny s profi tanečníky, kdykoliv to jen bylo možné. Od té doby se swingem nakazilo mnoho lidí, počet nadšenců a účastníků kurzů se stále zvyšuje a regensburská swingová komunita se živě a kontinuálně rozrůstá.

Marine tančí od svých 4 let. Po mnoha letech sólového tance, od baletu po hip hop, se ponořila do párového tance přes Lindy Hop, do kterého se zamilovala v roce 2012. Od té doby cestovala po celém světě, aby se věnovala společenskému tanci, soutěžila, vystupovala, učila a sdílela její lásku ke swingovému tanci. Pochází z Paříže a nyní sídlí v Praze, kde příležitostně nebo pravidelně vyučovala pro taneční školy Groovy Cats, Swing Busters a Zig-Zag.

Sebastian kam zum ersten Mal 2010 in einer Bar in Berlin mit Swing in Kontakt. Kurz darauf belegte er seinen ersten Kurs und verpasste seitdem keine Gelegenheit zu swingen. 2014 zog er nach Regensburg um festzustellen, dass es keine etablierte Swingszene gab. Aufs Tanzen zu verzichten war aber keine Option! Deshalb entschloss er sich, Kurse zu organisieren und eine Swing-Gemeinde aufzubauen. Er besuchte Seminare und Privatstunden mit professionellen Tänzern, wann immer dies möglich war. Seitdem haben sich viele Menschen mit dem Swing infiziert, die Zahl der Begeisterten und der Kursteilnehmer nimmt stetig zu und die Regensburger Swing-Community wächst lebhaft und kontinuierlich.

Sebastian's first contact with Swing was 2010 in a bar in Berlin. Soon after, he took his first class and has never since missed an opportunity to swing dance. When he moved to Regensburg in 2014, he had to learn that there was no scene in his new hometown. To stop dancing was not an option, so he decided to organize lessons and grow a swing dance community. He visited trainer-seminars and took private lessons from top class dancers whenever possible. Since then, more and more people have been infected with the swing virus, with a growing number of swing enthusiasts and people attending classes and events, and a vivid scene came into being.

Marine has been dancing since she was 4 years old. After many years of solo dancing, from ballet to hip hop, she dived into couple dancing through Lindy hop, which she felt in love with in 2012. Since then she has travelled around the world to social dance, compete, perform, teach and share her love for swing dancing. Originally from Paris, she's now based in Prague where she has taught, either occasionally or regularly, for Groovy Cats, Swing Busters and Zig-Zag dance schools.

Marine tanzt seit sie 4 Jahre alt ist. Nach vielen Jahren des Solotanzens, von Ballett bis Hip Hop, tauchte sie durch Lindy Hop in den Paartanz ein, in den sie sich 2012 verliebte. Seitdem ist sie um die Welt gereist, um Social Dance zu tanzen, Wettbewerbe teilzunehmen, aufzutreten, zu unterrichten und zu teilen ihre Liebe zum Swingtanzen. Die gebürtige Pariserin lebt heute in Prag, wo sie gelegentlich oder regelmäßig für Groovy Cats, Swing Busters und Zig-Zag Tanzschulen unterrichtet.
